Independent Sales Organization (ISO)

An independent sales organization (ISO) partners with an acquirer or processor to complete assigned tasks on the acquirer’s behalf. Rather than maintain their own in-house teams for things like sales or customer support, many acquirers and processors will outsource responsibilities to an ISO.

ISOs often have agents that help them bring in additional merchant clients.
