Sales Account Executive

The Sales Account Executive (SAE) will play a fundamental role in acquiring new business and driving sales growth.

The SAE will take ownership in revenue generation, identifying and developing a sales strategy for closing new sales opportunities, and managing a pipeline. The SAE has full responsibility for delivering a positive sales experience which will lead to continued engagement and interest in Midigator technology.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Qualify self-generated leads to generate new opportunities and convert to signed agreements
  • Work with BDRs to create new campaigns for tag team opportunities and convert to signed agreements
  • Collaborate with senior management as well as VP of Merchant Sales and act as the point person for preparation of proposals and subsequent contract negotiations with new clients
  • Communicate with the Client Operations team to ensure smooth onboarding of newly acquired clients
  • Articulate to clients the business and technical benefits of Midigator through demos and presentations
  • Understand customer needs and requirements
  • Close sales and achieve quarterly quotas
  • Independent outbound prospecting
  • Utilize Sales Engagement tools to find and generate new leads and opportunities
  • Regularly update CRM to track customer data and interactions
  • Manage monthly forecasting revenue
  • Attend industry conference and trade shows to help generate leads
  • Work with team to achieve Quarterly Team revenue goals
  • Forecast sales, contribute to developing sales strategies, and evaluate effectiveness
  • Coordinate with VP of Merchant Sales and Marketing to increase customer opportunities
  • Minimum 5 years of sales/business development experience. A plus if it’s in Software, Internet, SaaS or other related technology service environment
  • Track record of over-achieving quota
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques
  • Proficient with web presentation tools
  • Experience working with CRM’s is a plus
  • Strong understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Must be willing to travel occasionally

  • Must be able to follow directions thoroughly
  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) or equivalent. Marketing or Business Administration are a plus but not required
