Midigator Takes Security to the Next Level with SOC 2 Compliance

At Midigator,® we have an organization-wide commitment to maintaining rigorous security standards. As part of that commitment, we recently sought a formal evaluation of our data security and integrity.
After a thorough review, Midigator successfully passed its Type 1 Service Organization Control (SOC) 2 compliance audit, an internationally-recognized standard for exceptional data security and integrity.
What Is SOC 2?
A SOC 2® audit examines a company’s security controls according to one or more of the five trust principles identified by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA):
- Security
- Availability
- Processing Integrity
- Confidentiality
- Privacy
The audited trust principles vary depending on the specific operating environment of the organization under review.
The results of a SOC 2 audit help consumers and businesses identify vendors who are credible and comply with high expectations for security.
Midigator’s SOC 2 report is unqualified or clean, meaning the auditor noted no exceptions from the standard. This is the highest ranking available through a SOC 2 audit.
